About Me

Born Falmouth, Cornw­all - June 1948. My formative years were spent on, in and by the Fal Estuary in a variety of dinghies and yachts. I'm still in love with boats!

1960s - Employed as photographic printer/assistant in Falmouth by John Miles

Early 1970s Derby College of Art/Trent Polytechnic Dip in Creative Photography.

Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (ABIPP) 1975, specialising in architectural photography.

Late 1970s - Employed as staff photographer by Salmons of Sevenoaks.

1980 - present day - Freelance photographer with UK and overseas clients.

Continuing to offer first class, creative, architectural & commercial, editorial and travel photography to discerning clients both in the UK and abroad.

Early noughties taught AS, A level, National Diploma and HND photography at Truro College, Cornwall - Qualified Cert. Ed.

Hobbies are writing, sailing, rowing, real ale, folk and world music.

Divorced with one son, Dominic aged 29 who lives in Exeter, and who designed and coded this site.
